Jerky without the junky
Stryve was one of my favorite clients to work with — while the budgets were always low, the freedom was usually high — and the client-side team was all-time. highlights of my time working with stryve would include the silly ad featured below as well as the opportunity to work with Justin herbert (who is just a great a guy as they say). Photos shot by cam oden (unless otherwise mentioned), video by Justin segura — all produced by katie martin. design by drew white and kylee calvert.
Creative Direction — Brand Development
camo that’s meant to stand out
We took the brand guideline from stryve’s rebrand and made it into a physical set. we embraced the shapes and colors and ran with it.
biltong boy (token celebrity section)
how does a 5-star athlete end up being a spokesperson for a food category (biltong) that no one has heard of? honestly idk, but you’re probably more impressed now, right?
a different direction…
they didn’t like any of the packaging i designed and went with what they cooked up in-house, but I still got to create this pretty sick photo shoot for the ill-fated “stryve nutrition” line that never went anywhere.
